Biography
In 1977, he graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied under Jacek Sienicki. From 1977 to 1989, he served as an assistant and adjunct professor at the same Department of Painting. He primarily paints oil paintings, whose subjects are most often miniature figures with simplified silhouettes. The artist depicts them engaged in various activities, sometimes absurd and incomprehensible. In March 2002, he won the grand prize in the “PAINTING OF THE YEAR 2001” competition organized by the editorial staff of “Art&Business.”
